Joel Templeton grew up with parents who were photographers and got his first camera when he was eight years old. He has exhibited and sold prints through the years, but photographs primarily for his own pleasure. He remains in pursuit of light and shadow of the Montana outdoors and how it translates to the black and white print. There seems to be enough work to do here to keep him busy for the rest of his life.
